Yamaha Credit Card Bill
What to Do When You Can’t Pay Your Yamaha Credit Card Bill
The Yamaha Credit Card offer is available for the purchase of Yamaha products. Yamaha is a retailer selling boat motors and motorcycles among other sport equipment. There is no means of applying for the credit card online. All customers must visit a dealer to apply for factory financing, but bill payment options are available online. According to one customer, the Yamaha credit program has difficult restrictions making it hard to qualify for Yamaha financing.
How to Pay the Bill
The Yamaha credit card is backed by HSBC. Customers must visit the HSBC account page setup for Yamaha credit cards to make payments.
Pay your Yamaha credit card online: You can pay your Yamaha credit card online at https://www.hrsaccount.com/hrs/ecare?cmd_Redirect=Home&acctOrg=176&logoCode=000&chkCk=check. You’ll need to register for online account access with HSBC before making payment. Registration is free and customers can view bills and track payments online from their account.
Pay by mail: Payments must be mailed to the address listed on the bill. There is no mailing address listed on the Yamaha credit page or the HSBC account page. Mailing addresses may be available from the account page after customers register for online access.
Pay by phone: Checking account payments are accepted by phone at 1-888-367-4310. There may be a service fee associated with phone payments.
Questions About Your Billing Statement or Account?
There is very little information on service charges and fees associated with Yamaha credit. Customers can view information on the Customer Protection Plan on the Yamaha website. The best place to find answers about Yamaha credit fees is from the Yamaha Card Customer Relations at 1-800-252-5265.
How the Penalty Fees Work
- APR: The APR for the Yamaha credit card ranges from 22.99% to 28.99% depending on account status and other factors.
- Late payment fee: $15 for each late payment on accounts with a balance of $100 or less.
- Late payment fee: $25 for the first late payment on accounts with a balance of $101 or more. $35 for each subsequent late payment.
- Returned payment fee: $25 for each returned payment.
- Collection fees: If you refuse to make payment on your Yamaha credit card, your account will be placed with a collection agency and you may have to pay collection charges.
I Can’t Make a Payment
HSBC is not the best company to work with when it comes to non-payment or past due payment. You must contact the customer service department at the number listed on the back of your card to speak with a representative about payment plan arrangements. The alternate number is 1-888-367-4310.
In the event you can’t make your payments on-time, the company may suspend your account and demand the full amount owed in full.
Will They Work With Me to Pay My Bill?
We’d love to hear how Yamaha credit card services worked with you to pay your past due balance. HSBC is a tough company with many customer complaints. Did they work with you or turn your account over to a collection agency?
